Initially founded in the United States in 1965, the Kabbalah Centre was established in Los Angeles in 1994. The Kabbalah Centre in the U.S. grew out of the YeshivahKol Yehuda in Israel. The Israeli derivation which was established during 1922.
Since its establishment in Los Angeles, the Kabbalah Centre has become a primary focal point for Kabbalah practice in the United States and internationally as well. A notable number of non-Jewish Hollywood stars and other celebrities practice Kabbalah and are regular features at the Los Angeles Kabbalah Centre.

Sandra Bernhard has been particularly vocal about Kabbalah. She explained that she credits Kabbalah for eliminating 80 percent of the chaos she otherwise had experienced in her life.
Paris Hilton is another talkative adherent to Kabbalah and the Los Angeles Kabbalah Centre. She publicly shared relied on Kabbalah in the aftermath of her painful, challenging breakup with her lover Nick Carter. She explained that she started regularly visiting the LA Kabbalah Centre when her relationship with Carter collapsed.
Hilton explained that the Kabbalah Centre was particularly helpful when Carter publicly spoke and wrote about alleged details of their time together. She indicated that without the Kabbalah Centre, she would have had a far more difficult time keeping her life on track after the breakup with Carter. Kabbalah is said to provide access to ancient wisdom. The Kabbalah Centre advises that Kabbalah provides practice tools for creating joy and fulfillment in an adherent’s life.
